The Smith & Wesson M&P Shield is a subcompact 9mm that is perfect for women. I love mine because it has everything you would want in a defensive handgun: adequate stopping power, enough ammo, easy to shoot, and most importantly it is still small enough to comfortably conceal on a small frame. This is one of the thinnest guns on the list. Good for inside the waist band, good for bra holsters, good for purse holsters.
As you can see in the video, the M&P Shield is probably the best bet for anyone who wants to carry a small handgun on their person. It’s reliable, comfortable to conceal, and accurate. In my opinion it is the best firearm for women to conceal on their person.
